Job Summary

As a Senior Omni-Channel Analyst, you and will dive deep into how we sell to our customers, whether in a retail store or online. You will be responsible for extracting insights from wholesaler data, Purple’s owned retail store data, customer data and transaction data. This is a critical role that will influence the company’s strategic decisions. This position works with the sales teams to deliver business results and grow our customer base through data-driven insights and optimizations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Participate in senior-level discussions, and deliver actionable client insights to the Wholesale, Retail, and Revenue Growth Management teams to drive the performance of our Brick and Mortar and e-commerce businesses
Identify appropriate KPIs for cross-channel measurement and establish internal benchmarks to drive business effectiveness
Build models enabling a greater understanding of consumer demand assessing historical performance and developing predictive analytics to help forecast and optimize planning around sales, pricing, promotions, and assortment
Partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence to identify new approaches and data sources to power omni-channel analytics to unlock new opportunities
Be a thought partner and key collaborator to stakeholder and partner teams to frame and translate business questions into analytically driven products
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and fill gaps in current reporting and dashboards
Provide training to internal employees on how to utilize tools and reports

Qualifications

BA/BS in marketing, economics, statistics, business, or other quantitative disciplines
5+ years of experience in business insights and analytics, preferably with experience in consumer goods/branded goods or retail
Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations
Strong e-commerce business acumen when analyzing the business and identifying risks/opportunities
Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and creativity to strategically solve ambiguous business questions and determine the best path forward
Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workload and appropriately escalate when necessary
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; ability to translate complex findings and results into a compelling narrative
Experience working with Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Visualization tools
Proven track record of using SQL or similar query languages to work with large data sets. Experience with Snowflake a plus
Experience using a programming language for data analysis like R or Python for analysis or modeling
Experience with advanced analytics, forecasting, and price optimization
Knowledge of statistical concepts such as probability, sampling, and statistical significance
