Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Regular and Consistent Attendance
- Partner with business leaders to identify and solve complex business analytics problems, developing actionable insights and recommendations
- Perform moderately complex statistical analysis and presenting findings
- Develop complex reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations utilizing Power BI, Excel, ZAP BI, SSRS and other BI platforms
- Unify business logic and KPI definitions across all BI solutions
- Maintain existing BI solutions while looking for opportunities to improve them
- Coordinate with the Data Ops team to develop and document data warehouse collections and data sets needed for BI reporting and analysis
- Analyze and understand source system data for validity and completeness, troubleshooting basic data integrity issues, and document findings
- Maintain detailed data dictionaries, documentation, and source control for all BI processes and solutions
- Provide end user training and support for BI platforms
- Remain current in profession and industry trends, learning new platforms as needed

Education/Experience:
- Computer Science or another analytically challenging field
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience performing detailed analysis and developing reports, dashboards, and other visuals to present findings
- Ability to work with large data sets from multiple structured and unstructured data systems
- Proficient in analytical languages (T-SQL, R/Python)
- Experience building data sets, dashboards, and other visuals in Power BI (in depth knowledge of Power Query, M, and DAX)
- Advanced proficiency with Excel in a reporting and dashboarding capacity (Power Query, cube functions, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, etc.)
- Ability to develop an understanding of table relationships by reverse engineering views and stored procedures
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse modeling concepts a big plus
- Working knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines
- Willingness to learn new technologies

Must have good reading, writing and speaking skills to effectively communicate with fellow co-workers and management of other business units.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to develop and interpret charts.
Reasoning Ability:
Excellent reasoning and analytical skills are necessary to obtain information needed. Ability to analyze the big picture as well as the individual parts is critical.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, database software
