As the Business Intelligence Intern on Relativity’s BI team, you will build/maintain Tableau reporting and data modeling to enable data-driven decision-making for business users throughout Relativity. You will develop a familiarity of Relativity’s existing data sources and work with the BI team’s internal customers to create new data sources and/or transform data to meet reporting requirements. You will also work with the BI Data Engineering team to optimize for performance and/or cost, as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Learning about the various aspects of Relativity’s business and the related data assets which can be used to enable decision-making in each area
- Collaborate and interact with different parts of the business to understand requirements/provide recommendations
- Participate in performance/cost optimization efforts
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related field (computer science, information systems, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of database design and logic (SQL)
- Experience creating data visualizations in Tableau, or a similar BI tool
- Ability to explore datasets and identify data transformation and data quality needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
- Intellectual curiosity, passion for data and problem solving, and a positive attitude
