Job Location: New Delhi
As Senior Analyst Service Level and Supplier Management , you will manage the global logistics day to day activities on behalf of SITA s internal and external stakeholders. Global logistics team deals with shipping of IT network devices and non- IT network devices. This team supports projects and Ad-Hoc deployments that vary in complexity and size.
What you will do
Partner with contracted vendors/freight forwarders to manage the shipping activities within service level expectations.
Work on road, sea, air freight quotes and bids for bulk shipments with service providers.
Strong knowledge in dealing with freight forwarders to get the custom activities managed and shipment delivery.
Participate in weekly or monthly calls with vendors to resolve the regular upcoming concerns, burning issues and to discuss their performance.
Work with stakeholders like Customer Service Managers, project managers, field engineers etc.
Continuously work with vendors and logistics central experts to identify and eliminate obstacles.
Inform and work with respective logistics central experts for shipment issues, cost concerns and best shipping practices.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities for quality enhancement, process improvement, cost reduction etc.
Review monthly reports of quotations, bids, and shipment activities within logistics team.
Ensure that logistics process is followed in accordance with state or country custom laws.
Qualifications
Who you are
Candidate with at least 5 years of work experience
3-4 years of experience in global supply chain/logistics in IT industry is preferable
Experience in dealing with custom offices and global vendors is preferable
Graduate or postgraduate (supply chain supplier management or similar course is preferable).
Good knowledge of Excel, presentation skills and excellent communication skills
Should be able to work with the team in global and virtual environment
Should have excellent coordination skills and decision-making abilities
Should have excellent self-organizing, time management and interpersonal skills
ITIL V4 foundation certified is preferable
Knowledge of share -point and power BI
