Junior Business Analyst (Media Coordination)

General Summary

Need a Junior BA/Media Coordinator to coordinate and track the delivery of media and metadata between creators and consumers. In this role, you will provide production support for media deliveries, ensuring content is delivered on time and according to specifications. You will also play a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

  • Works closely with internal and external teams including – Studio, Media Services, and Technology teams
  • Remote (US Based), may require limited training / travel
  • Contract position starting July 2024 through June 2024
  • May be required to work in shifts, weekends, and after hours as needed
  • Background checks are required
  • Entertainment industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Track the progress of media deliveries and ensure they meet deadlines and specifications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in media delivery processes.
  • Support the production team with media deliveries, including gathering requirements, creating documentation, and managing deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (production, IT, etc.) to analyze and improve workflows.
  • Develop and document process improvement plans, including creating flowcharts and other visual aids.
  • Maintain and update internal databases and systems related to media delivery.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of business process documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for media delivery and content management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in a business analyst role or similar position (a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Agile tools (e.g. Jira) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with media and entertainment industry terminology is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced and deadline-driven workplace
  • Proofread artifacts of other team members for errors and standards
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and must have a positive can-do attitude
  • Communication skills to interface with teams and solve problems
  • Professional phone manner, email etiquette, and strong interpersonal people skills
  • Production support for media deliveries by reaching out to internal and external teams

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience level:

  • 2 years

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Weekends as needed
