- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical users
- Experience in Workday report development using the Workday Enterprise Interface Builder EIB, BIRT and Workday Studio. Workday Matrix and Composite Reports development a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday reporting capabilities & data architecture
- Experience in more than one area: Recruiting, Onboarding, Core HCM, Absence Management, Compensation, Learning, etc.)
- Workday Reporting Certification is a plus
- Workday Prism Analytics experience is a plus
- Data visualization and dashboard design experience (e.g. Prism, Tableau, Power BI)
- Prototyping & testing experience
- Demonstrated consulting, presentation skills and ability to influence
- Analytical mindset to produce business insights and data driven recommendations
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Workday report developer with hands-on experience building Advanced and Composite reports required with a desired emphasis on financial reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Workday report developer and experience with dashboards and Prism Analytics.
What You ll Do
As a Workday Prism Report Writer/Developer you ll be part of our Global HRIS team, working remotely.
Specifically, you ll:
- Manages the maintenance, design, development, testing and deployment of custom Workday reports/EIB s/dashboards in alignment with People program goals and data security framework
- Analyzes business requirements and capabilities for advanced data/reports
- Builds custom reporting structures within the Workday tenant
- Implements calculated fields requirements defined by relevant stakeholders
- Handles BIRT reporting activities
- Performs reporting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provides support, to include researching, resolving reporting issues and supporting training initiatives within Workday
- Partners with People Analytics team to ensure data, calculations, and security consistency across all reporting platforms
- Collaborates with the reporting manager on all data/reports requirements that would require the usage of standard report & custom reports
- Determine which technology tool within HRIS fits the requirements
- Documentation: Create and maintain functional team deliverables, including ensuring naming and documentation consistency.
- Analysis: Understand how business requirements can be configured in reports and convert functional design needs into report design documentation.
- Provide cross-functional understanding of data and support in the validation of new and revised reports.
