Job Detail:
Strategic ACI is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Scientist to be on a team providing technical and subject matter expertise support to National Geospatial-intelligence Agency (NGA) Research for existing and planned Research & Development (R&D) programs, market research of emerging and existing state of the art technologies, acquisition of new capabilities, organizational management including business process and communications, and support to technology transfer and transition.
Responsibilities:
- Create novel 3D modeling and simulation within the Research Laboratory Environment of literal and non-literal data to aid visualization of network analysis and pattern of life analysis.
- Provide technical support in the areas of Computer Vision, ML, Deep Learning, AI, Data Science, Image Science, collection assets and data sources
- Apply knowledge of data standards and data encoding/compression, and knowledge of system interfaces such as APIs and software development kits (SDKs) and protocols, to analyze multiple data types and formats including still and motion/video data types
- Work with Government to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain visualization capabilities for supporting and integrating GEOINT operational capabilities into the NSG
- Perform data, image, and video processing to support development and evaluation
- Support increased automation and ML techniques through the utilization of evaluation methodologies such as training data and knowledge of human performance and utility measurements for better outcomes
- Produce high quality, professional, and innovative solutions to complex and technologically advanced AI/ML-Problems.
- Assist in the coordination of the development and execution of cutting-edge research programs to create and experimentally prove innovative and effective solutions to complex AI technical problems.
- Coordinate testing and evaluation of research efforts and transitioning research into operational environments.
- Collaborate with IC and DoD agencies on research projects in relevant areas.
- Prepare briefings of technical material to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Plan and track progress of complex technical projects and coordinating technical exchange meetings and working groups.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline; PhD with15 years of relevant work experience, Master’s with 18 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s with 20 years of relevant experience and be recognized within a discipline relevant to the work associated with the position. Types of recognition include Federal, national, or internationally recognized professional organization or academia, and/or relevant publications in reputable medium.
