Title: Mid- Level Data Analyst (SQL, Power BI)
Location: Hybrid Local (3/2)
Duration: 6 Months
Compensation: $30.00 to $45.00

Overview:

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, business analytics or statistics preferred
- Advanced SQL skills and ability to write well optimized queries including a variety of functions and subqueries.
- A strong understanding of databases and modeling
- 3-5 years of post-degree experience in data analysis using SQL and business intelligence tools
- Experience creating complex data visualizations utilizing BI Tools
- Knowledge of D365 data, preferred
- Must be able to work independently, as needed
- Must be able to know when to bring issues/questions to management for direction and support
Responsibilities:
- The associate will be responsible for data quality initiatives to ensure completeness, validity, and accuracy of data provided by various applications.
- They will develop subject matter expertise in multiple areas of focus to support our business (Retail Wholesale, Fleet Wholesale, Parts, Accessory, Warranty, Incentives, etc).
- They will have a thorough understanding of data gathering and business intelligence tools.
- Provide expertise and translate the business needs to design: develop tools, techniques, metrics and dashboards for insights and data visualizations.
- Be detail oriented and deliberate in your approach to data coding, design with the end in mind to keep things hands off and automated.
- Be able to identify and explain issues and problems with data
- Look for opportunities to automate insights through alerting and anomaly detection.
- Advocate for collection of new data, refine existing data or resolve data quality issue, develop requirements and collaborate with ITS
- Self-starter, with ability to drive change through influence, and collaborate effectively with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excited and hungry to try new tools and processes to achieve results.
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to partner with stakeholders across a large organization
- Strong coding skills and experience with process optimization would be optimal.
- Be able to identify and explain issues and problems with data
- As needed, they will participate and lead internal meetings to assist with keeping the project on task and leveraging SMEs (i.e. project status, issue resolution, etc).
- Experience with predictive analytics a plus
- Finance and Accounting knowledge a plus
