Summary:
Perform business and technical analysis supporting the implementation for public offerings and private placements. Work closely with business units in the Chief Legal Office (CLO) to translate current processes and data within current platform to the new product, define requirements/data specifications and process flows, and identify opportunities for streamlining and optimization existing processes. Acquire expertise in modern technology to fully leverage its capabilities and implementation patterns in conjunction with understanding the current products being used to support business processes.
Work closely with business units and the vendor to determine optimal configuration needs and to facilitate adoption of the new product. This individual serves in partnership with the business and the vendor to help ensure a successful product implementation with a subsequent key support role post-go-live. Ideal candidates will possess outstanding communication and collaboration skills; be self-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented; and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Functions:
- Analyze and understand complex business processes, functions, and data; have ability to model these processes effectively for validation with business units and technical reviews with the product vendor. Deliver appropriate artifacts in support of ensuring vendor successfully implements all requirements and data in the new product.
- Independently interact with business team to ensure clarity of the business area and elicit business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Acquire expertise in the new product to obtain advanced understanding of its features and capabilities and how they should be configured to support business unit onboarding.
- Provide key input towards recommending, designing, and implementing innovative solutions to meet business needs, with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency.
- Analyze data specifications and logical data models and define data mappings and transformation rules to meet requirements.
- Lead data conversion activities to migrate data from current product into the new product. Become an expert in the business data.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of business processes and/or systems and provide advanced level support for continued configuration needs.
- Lead end-user feedback activities, such as user acceptance testing and product demos in partnership with the product vendor. Track and establish a triage system for all user testing feedback.
- Support the business and Product teams in change management tasks, such as assisting in end-user training and writing user support guides.
- Provide detailed reviews and feedback on written vendor deliverables for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Serve as the in-house technical subject matter expert on the product responsible for system administration post-go-live. This responsibility would include tracking vendor updates and understanding the testing and integration efforts that may be required for version upgrades.
- Facilitate PI Planning sessions and Scrum ceremonies.
- Experience in reporting, metrics creation and perform analysis.
