Manager, Business Intelligence
As part of the Analytics & Insights Team supporting our Supply Chain function, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Lead (Title: Manger BI). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of BI data models and dashboards and will be working along-side our data engineers and core developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
The BI Lead will work with stakeholders and SMEs to define, design and deliver actionable insights while working with the Solution Architects, Data Engineers and a team of BI developers in an agile environment. The BI Lead will provide thought leadership around analytics, data governance, visualizations, designing and implementing analytical data models.
- What You’ll Do for Us

Formulate and recommend standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the analytics solutions.
- Quickly develop diverse POCs from various data sources and systems
- Perform ad-hoc data discovery using SQL, Alteryx, Dataverse, PowerBI and Excel
- Create visually stunning and user-friendly reports, dashboards and analytical products
- Communicate effectively with audience from diverse business and technical backgrounds
- Lead BI software development, deployment, and transition to maintenance & operations
- Work with stakeholders and develop BI roadmap for success given project prioritization and budget.
- Work directly with our data engineers to guarantee data correctness and data quality
- Work with business users, product, and customer teams to set precise requirements for BI analytics, tooling and future software and make the right strategic decisions
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting of our BI solutions, including investigation of data issues and data validation
- Evangelize self-service BI and visual discovery while helping to change Excel based culture
- Work closely with the Product Owner, BA and the Solution Architect to ensure prioritization of strategic objectives.
- Champion data quality, integrity, and reliability by designing and promoting best practices.
- Help Development and Operations Teams with technical expertise or complex systems and/or programming knowledge.
- Provide on-the-job training for new or less experienced team members.
- Share technical knowledge and implementation experience with external team members to foster stronger relations

Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Informatics, or in a related area
- 7+ years of experience delivering business intelligence solutions in a developer, architect or similar position
- 7+ years of experience with OLTP and OLAP database models.
- 5+ years of advanced experience with DAX, SQL, and Power BI/Power Pivot
- 7+ years of experience in creating reports and dashboards using visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Solid understanding of Kimball-style data warehousing best practices and data modeling.
- Development of high-quality database solutions on-premises and/or in the cloud
- Expert knowledge of creating and optimizing tabular and multidimensional models.
- Foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, data modeling, big data analytics.
- Expert knowledge of T-SQL and writing SQL queries to perform complex database operations including performance tuning and stored procedures
- Experience of architectures for producing data analytics deliverables, including embedded reporting, ad hoc reporting, and advanced analytics at scale.
- Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts
- Implementation experience of multiple full life-cycle data management implementations
- Leadership experience managing teams of technical resources
- Experience with the direct cooperation with the end users and business teams on analytics needs
- Strong analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
- Experience working in an SAFe Agile environment using Azure DevOps
