As a Data Security Analyst Intern with JAX, you will be supporting the ongoing development of our Data Loss Prevention and Detection service and security tool. In this role, you will focus on analyzing collected data and developing monitoring filters to detect and report on risky data loss activities. You will collaborate with a team of Security professionals and be a part an exciting opportunity to mature the Data Loss Detection service at JAX.

This Position Provides

  • Real world exposure to corporate Cybersecurity programs.
  • Opportunity to blend technical skills and understanding cybersecurity and data loss. Prevention.
  • Development of soft skills expected for working in an enterprise environment.
  • Produce Data Loss Detection and Response policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and support the production Data Loss Detection software system.
  • Coordinate the installation of endpoint Data Loss Detection sensors.
  • Analyze collected structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop and implement datasets and filters to detect data movement to high-risk areas.
  • Develop and implement Data Blocking filters on high-risk data movement areas.
  • Create Service Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instruction documentation.
