What we expect
TK Elevator leverages the Summer Internship program to provide relevant work experience to selected participants while also considering successful candidates for potential full-time positions with the company. Important aspects of the position and skill sets required are noted below.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in providing the Data & Analytics team with data mining and analytics to ensure contract renewal recommendations are viable while also raising any exceptions or concerns that might prohibit accuracy and use
- Partner with the Business teams to implement analytics framework, including contract guidance, dashboards, and reporting on relevant KPIs, leveraging modern Visualization tools like Power BI & Databricks
- Throughout the program, the Intern will be working with key business and IT resources to understand business problems that we are facing and developing solutions with a data-driven approach
- Opportunities will exist to present findings to key stakeholders in the business to inform with Data & Analytics concepts, methodologies and techniques
- Leverage reporting technology to develop dashboards/reporting, ad hoc reports, executive summaries, and formal presentations
- Analyze and interpret data to ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for business leaders
- Identify potential external data sources that could be integrated to enrich internal data in order to better inform the pricing analytics approach

Education & Experience
- One Internship position available:
- Graduate Student, Master’s degree in Business Administration
- Graduate Student, Master’s degree in Analytics
- Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Technical Documentation Information Systems, or Finance Business Information Systems knowledge and scripting experience preferred
- Demonstrates analytical capabilities in the areas of Financial Impact Analysis, Customer Segmentation and Sensitivity Analysis
- Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and statistical modeling algorithms, Python and SQL
- Strong analytical, organizational, presentation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision
