The security organization at Uber is dedicated to enabling safe and secure innovation while protecting the communities we serve both online and in the physical world. The primary objective for Uber Engineering Security team is to enable the technical ambitions of the company while maintaining the highest standards of security and privacy for our customers and partners. About the Role
You will help Engineering Security by supporting their decision making through your analytics, heavy data driven approach, and operational mentality. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent time-management, priority setting and organizational habits, the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek agreement and excellent team interaction.
What You’ll Do
- Drive analysis on projects and important strategic decisions improving the experience for EngSec
- Coordinate with other members of the EngSec and Data Analytics team to measure the impact and efficiency of new security programs and business processes
- Build, and maintain detailed models/dashboards for security reporting
- Develop analytical frameworks
- Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to keep security teams as efficient as possible
Basic Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, Excel and Google suite
- Ability to build dashboards with insightful visualisation.
- Build impactful presentations to share insights and drive recommendations
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Flexible to deliver on tight deadlines, motivated to continuously learn, upskill and help team members
- 1-2 years of work experience in reporting data using SQL and performing analysis using
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of work experience in reporting data using python, SQL, Tableau, Google Data Studio

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber’s cultural identity.
