About the Role

As a Sales & Success Operations Senior Analyst you will support the Uber for Business organization across US and Canada through data insights and analytics.
This person will be responsible for building books, weekly reports and ad-hoc analyses that drive the sales cadence in the region (e.g. weekly forecasting, performance measurement etc.) as well broader analyses about market performance, identify trends and areas of opportunities in the business.
This person would be someone that is comfortable with reporting but also someone that goes beyond the numbers to provide insights. The role is technical in nature, as you will work with our sales systems and manipulate large data sets. It also requires the ability to work independently, cross-functionally, and deal with ambiguity!


What You’ll Do

  • Be the owner of the data, methodology, implementation and continuous improvement of assigning accounts to our sales teams
  • Be the owner of reporting dashboards and any other tools used by the sales teams and sales managers to perform their day-to-day tasks, in partnership with Central Sales Operations team
  • Become the source of truth when it comes to data accuracy in region
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including with senior sales managers and the regional general manager
  • Automate reporting and processes to support our growing business
  • Work with Central Sales Operations team in HQ to ensure that data and reporting are consistent and leverage reports already built


Basic Qualifications

  • 1 year of analytical and database experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree focused in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with multiple analytical and database tools (e.g Hive, Presto, Vertica)
  • Experience in modern programming languages (Matlab, Python) or statistical languages (SQL, SAS, R)
  • Proven ability to manage large datasets, explore and utilize raw data feeds
  • Excellent data visualization skills and some experience with dashboarding tools (Tableau, Qlik, Data Studio)
  • Love of data! You go get the data you need and turn it into an insightful story. You know how to convert data into decisions without getting stuck in paralysis by analysis
  • Well-organised, structured approach to problem solving
  • Proven sense of ownership, accountability and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to inspire change being solution oriented
  • Phenomenal communicator, quick thinker & confident in decision making
  • Independent & autonomous, while still a solid teammate
  • Hardworking, self-starting and thrives in changing, agile environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of analytical and database experience
  • Experience as a seller or in sales operations, preferably in related industries and segments
  • Experience in a global role
