Selected candidates in this role will be part of India’s Biggest Healthcare Analytics team. They will be working in different Optum functions -Consumer/ Provider, Healthcare Affordability, Operations analytics teams to solve real Healthcare problems and challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proficiency
- Be able to develop proficiency in software product building
- Acquire understanding of US Healthcare domain
- Requirements Analysis & Planning
- Lead one/more project execution independently with manager doing high level client communication and project planning. Figures out how and when to build a Solution
- Positions in this function is responsible for the Project documentation
- Design & Develop
- Design solutions using Java Frameworks and develop solution for process optimization
- Team Management
- Be able to mentor & groom Junior Engineers
- Lead and Drive Knowledge sharing session within the team
- Own the technical deliveries of the team
- Capability Development
- Work with Senior team members to develop new capabilities for the team
- Collaboration
- Collaborate with Enterprise teams within UHG for requirement gathering and use case implementation for the product
- Collaborate with Data Scientists & Data Analysts to work on a solution to address a business problem

Required Qualifications:
- 3 – 7 Years of Experience with below mentioned Skills
- Experience on Java (Java 1. 7/Java 1. 8), Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Maven
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON
- Experience with UI frameworks such as VueJS/ReactJS/Angular
- Experience working with Eclipse/IntelliJ and Design Patterns
- Experience of working on any one of the relational databases such as MySQL/Postgres/MS SQL Server
- Experience of working on any one of the messaging services such as Kafka/ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of Version Control Tools – GitHub/SVN
- Knowledge of CI/CD Tools – Jenkins
- Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of Configuration Management – GitHub
- Knowledge of Messaging Queues – Kafka/ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of Relational Databases – SQL Server/Oracle/Teradata/IBM DB2/MySQL
- Knowledge about on any one of the subversion control tools such as Git/SVN
- Proficient in technologies such as Java8, Maven, Spring Framework, Spring Boot (Microservices)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge/experience in CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins/Docker/Kubernetes
- Knowledge/experience in one of the UI frameworks such as VueJS/ReactJS/Angular
- Knowledge/experience in Python
- Knowledge/experience in any Big data technologies such as Spark/Scala/Hive/HBase/Pig/Sqoop
- Knowledge/experience in Elastic Search
- Knowledge on Agile/ Scrum
- Knowledge/Experience on Cloud Technologies – Azure/AWS
- Knowledge/Experience with Containerization – Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge/Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power Point
