Job Summary
Responsibilities
This position is a 100% FTE, working on-site, M-F from 8 am – 5 pm. Flexible work schedule is available upon successful completion of probation.
Required Qualifications

Some experience working in fast-paced work environment in the area of operational analysis or facility resource management.

Intermediate/Advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel and Word for Windows.
-
Ability to learn Department and School of Medicine accounting software and other software for spreadsheets, word processing, and database management.
-
Skills to work independently and relies on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals.
-
Skills to analyze data and computer reports to draw meaningful and reasonable conclusions.

Skills to solve problems quickly.

Must have strong organizational skills.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or a combination of experience, education and/or training.

Experience working with technology organizations
-
Experience with UCPath, Aggie Budget, PeopleAdmin, Cognos Reports, Ecotime, Kuali, Compliance 360, Decision Support and scheduling systems.
-
Experience working with Microsoft Office applications and internet browsers.
-
Flexibility on changing priorities for a very demanding workload. The ability to use independent judgment to make logical decisions.

Knowledge and fiscal and account management and generally accepted accounting principles and University accounting policies and procedures.
-
Knowledge and ability to allocate costs using cost allocation methods. Knowledge of University contract, agreement, and MOU policies and procedures.

Skills to communicate verbally effectively and professionally and in writing to establish and maintain good rapport with staff, faculty, co-workers, and vendors. Understanding urgency and provide excellent customer service including responsiveness, support, and appreciation of the staff, faculty, and vendors. Resolves issues and anticipate the need for further action.

Analytical skills to assume responsibility independently and tactfully for coordination and completion of complex projects requiring interactions with many individuals in a matrix organizational structure.

Ability to work with minimal direction and to take the initiative to follow up on projects.

Ability to function well in a team environment by utilizing available resources and building strong, professional relationships with other team members. The desire to work cohesively to ensure unit goals and expectations are met and exceeded.
