Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
Responsibilities
- Act as a Single Point of Contact for all data repositories and develop metrics to analyze pertinent information
and share insights through various reports, dashboards on a sustainable basis.
- Deep-dive into data trends to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Identify trends, patterns and concerns emerging from data and highlight the same to management, with
recommendations in a clear, concise manner to enable smooth and quick decision making.
- Data validation and attention to detail is required as this role will be accountable for the quality of all numbers
delivered through dashboards or otherwise.
- Ensure data collection, transformation, distribution and access is optimized to provide crystal-clear visibility into
the consumer behavior.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in building complex SQL queries. Loves to create automations.
- Advanced Excel, Create Pivots. Ability to write macros is preferred.
- Experience in app-related / clickstream data analytics preferred (but not needed).
- Experience in building complex MIS and dashboards in any BI tool.
- Good analytical skills and ability to understand business requirements and related metrics; ability to create
definitions; ability to slice and dice data.
Required Behavioural Skills:
- Strong analytical bent of mind.
- Should be result & detail oriented and must have the ability to multi-task and work long hours under pressure
with minimum supervision.
- Absolutely necessary to be a self-starter and have the determination to gain operational clarity from multiple
teams.
- Should be able to proactively provide regular updates and volunteer to improve the general data reporting.
- Proficient in Verbal and Written Communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with fellow
analysts / data engineers as well as the management.
- Should be a quick learner with ability to learn new tools/technology quickly.
Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a top institute.
Experience: 2 years+ (relevant)
