About The Mission You Will Join
This ePMO Analyst position will be supporting the NNSA (National Nuclear Security Administration) Associate Administrator for Information Management and Chief Information Officer (OCIO) ePMO providing Federal IT Service delivery.
Your Impact To The Mission
- As an ePMO Analyst you will work alongside a team of analysts, providing oversight and assessments, creating recommendations, and establishing best practices for improving operations, processes, and outcomes for a cybersecurity project.
- Define, develop, establish, execute, and mature an ePMO Program with best practices, processes, and strategic portfolio management
- Orchestrates IT portfolio management, governance, enterprise architecture, and oversight
- Champion organizational change, develop roadmaps, and integration steps to ensure continued project success
- Facilitate the integration of other related project schedules across NNSA, monitor the setting of predecessor/successor relationships, and align project timelines with enterprise requirements/deadlines
- Monitor the inter-project utilization of key resources and help PMs understand resource utilization verse efficiency
- Champion project change orders when needed
- Monitor functions such as timekeeping compliance, performance evaluations, absence approvals, and dispute resolutions
- Record lessons learned and direct the integration of lessons learned and best practices
- Develop aggregated project reports and portfolio level reports
- Communicate progress on a portfolio level
- Collect, retain, and dispose of project documentation in accordance with organizational guidelines
- Support the development and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework
Experience Needed To Be Successful
- Experience standing up an ePMO and integrating ePMO activities with existing operational processes
- Knowledgeable in continuous improvement and leading organizational change
- Strong writing and oral presentation capabilities
- Ability to effectively interact with management and staff at all levels within a multi-level organization
- Strong writing and oral presentation capabilities in developing executive-level briefings, presentations, and recommendations for senior management
- Possess expert understanding of the intricacies and unique relationships of key internal and external stakeholders, partners, and customers
Basic Qualifiers
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree
- Can Additional Years of Experience Substitute for Degree? Yes
- Minimum Years of Overall Experience: 12
- Minimum Years of Specific Experience in Field: 8
- Minimum Clearance to Start: Top Secret
- Work Status Allowable: US Citizenship
