Please Note:
This position allows remote work but will require travel to our Voya office. Candidates must be located within a 100-mile radius from the assigned office.
Profile Summary:
The Sr. Vendor Analytics Specialist acts as a leader in cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and enhance Voya strategic supplier management strategies across key strategic suppliers, managed services and internal stakeholders. Identifies areas where improvement is needed and leads the development of functions to support relationship management, performance management, financial management, and contract management governance activities. Leads development and implementation of data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Profile Description:
  • Leads and facilitates activities with relationship owners of suppliers to ensure financial and operational performance is delivered to company expectations, and, where possible, drives suppliers to exceed expectations
  • Recommend and implement automation of manual processes driving team efficiencies and maturing Strategic Supplier Management strategies
  • Manages supplier resource on-boarding, off-boarding, attrition tracking, skills matrices, training and compliance processes, along with coordination with cross divisional partners. This includes routine reporting and supervisory report review and validation. Performs frequent audits of internal activities and training requirements for suppliers to identify any potential risks to Voya.
  • Identifies and implements technical tools focused on maturing strategic supplier management responsibilities and future strategies
  • Spend data analysis and manipulation based on customer requirements
  • Utilizes key systems (Workday, Oracle Financials, ServiceNow Archer, etc.) to review and report supplier performance and financial data
  • Leads creation of internal and external performance surveys, consolidating of results, and presentation of data
  • SharePoint administrator for site design, maintenance, archiving, security access, and governance for Strategic Supplier Management team and stakeholders. Includes creation of custom workflows supporting contracting and governance activities
  • Ownership of internal systems including network share drive for design, security access, and maintenance
  • Process documentation and standardization across team
  • Data manipulation and presentation of key supplier data via dashboards
  • Interact with internal/external third parties at all levels to support resolution of complex business or process issues requiring a balance of assertiveness, tact, business acumen and diplomacy
  • Other related duties as assigned
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree preferred
  • 6+ years supplier management, data analytics and/ or process design is preferred. Finance/procurement background that includes analysis techniques preferred.
  • Ability to process complex data and create automation opportunities
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, SharePoint and other MS Office software required. Includes macros and Visual Basic.
  • Experience with visual representation and database tools such as OBI and Tableau is preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Salesforce, Archer, ServiceNow systems is helpful
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to quickly and accurately assess needs of demanding business clients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, requiring a balance of assertiveness, tact, and confidentiality
  • Works well independently and in teams, has proven ability to solve problems, and exercise good judgement.
  • Past project leadership required
  • Strong analytical oral and written skills are required
