WebstaurantStore – Marketing Data Analyst
WebstaurantStore, the world’s largest online restaurant supply company, is hiring for a full-time Marketing Data Analyst to join our data-driven marketing team. This role is meant for a curious, data-driven, and creative individual who can enhance our team’s skill set. We’re looking for candidates who have experience within the following areas: Big Query, SQL Server, R Studio, Python, Ecommerce, and Marketing. Our team oversees the company’s Analytics Engineering subteam, which centralizes all marketing data in Google Cloud, and you will have the opportunity to work with “Big Data” to lead insights, initiatives, and get exposure to a variety of projects and experience.
Our team is based out of Tampa, FL and Lititz, PA, but at this time all employees are working remotely.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build and manage queries and data pipelines
- Stay up to date on industry trends and explore/test new opportunities
- Forecasting and data modeling
- Evaluate and measure the incremental impact of our marketing, using tactics such as attribution modeling, media mix modeling, and designing experiments
- Produce a continuous flow of data-driven insights, hypothesis, and recommendations that drive optimization and growth
- Quickly querying across multiple sources of data to answer questions
- Mentor and teach less experienced data analysts
- Analyzing marketing and internal data to identify trends and insights
- Become an internal Marketing Data subject matter expert
- Work with Analytics Engineering to leverage cloud data for insights
- Help make recommendations and lead decision-making through analysis
Essential requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working on advanced analytics projects for large websites, preferably e-commerce
- Fluent with tools necessary to accomplish data projects using SQL and BigQuery
- Google Analytics 360 experience
- Ability to use statistics to develop robust analysis and recommendations. The candidate draws from experience to know when, why, and how to apply statistical methods
- Experience using machine learning algorithms and understand their marketing & business applications
- Self-starter with the ability to be flexible and apply outside the box thinking to complex data and problems
- Track record of using well-crafted data visualizations to tell the story behind the data. The candidate has a deep knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Data Studio, Looker, PowerBI, Tableau)
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient with Excel, Google Sheets & Google Analytics
- Google Adwords, Bing, and Facebook Business Manager
- Experience using data visualization software (ex. Power BI, Looker, Tableau or Google Data Studio)
- Data architecture and ETL
- Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Fusion, Data Proc, and Data Transfers
- Funnel.io, Datorama, Supermetrics or Domo
- Prior experience with large-scale, paid media accounts, preferably e-commerce businesses
- Python
- R Studio

Remote work qualifications
