IT Asset and Configuration Analyst

What you’ll do:
The IT Asset and Configuration Analyst will provide essential support to our Asset and Configuration Management processes. This role will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and maintenance of process, as well as building and maintaining reporting metrics and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and be proficient with ServiceNow reporting tools.
What we are looking for:
- Assist configuration and asset process owners in the development, implementation, and maintenance of configuration and asset management processes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for configuration and asset management.
- Provide regular reports on asset utilization, compliance, lifecycle status, and configuration management activities.
- Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with regular audits of the CMDB and asset inventory to ensure data integrity and compliance with policies.
- Support functional and UAT testing requirements for asset and configuration management implementation.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials and documentation for configuration and asset management processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users and administrators on configuration and asset management tools and practices.
- Supports development of process guides, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in configuration management, asset management, or a related IT support role.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow IT Asset Management capabilities.
- Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with reporting, dashboard, and data visualization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
