Associate Quality Assurance Engineer
Summary
The Associate Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for performing the system testing phase of product development. This includes executing test cases, verifying test results, and communicating results to the development team. Must be familiar with the software development process and must have keen attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leverage project requirements and design documents to create a comprehensive system test plan
  • Write specific test cases to adequately test new/modified functions and to regression test unmodified system components
  • Enter/manage the system test plan and cases in JIRA
  • Execute test cases and verify results, including scripts to query the affected database tables to verify database inserts/updates are performing correctly
  • Report system test bugs to the appropriate Software Development Team Lead
Education Experience &Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. Must be able to produce college transcripts showing minimum 3.0 GPA if applicable
  • 1+ years of software development experience or software quality assurance experience
  • 1+ years experience in the following key technologies:
    • Excellent SQL skills Preferred
    • Unix Experience Preferred
    • Shell scripting/Perl/Python Preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Robot Framework
Additional Details
  • Location: Niwot, CO or Remote
  • Department: IT Department
  • Compensation Range: $56,000 – $74,000. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component.
