Essential Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day operations as outlined in the ZEV strategic plan. Build work products and document/map changes required to facilitate the ZEV program. Meet established targets for completion of analysis requests, reports, and key milestones. Review ZEV vendor contracts and monitor vendor compliance to SLAs. Build a working relationship with ZEV partners (e.g., upfitters and OEMs) to support the design, execution, and management of the ZEV pilot programs.
- Support the ZEV program in partnering with XE leadership, Fleet Operations, Asset Management, other teams (e.g., property services) on compiling program requirements and providing project implementation support. Collaborate with the Fleet Regulatory team to document/review ZEV regulatory requirements (e.g., licensing) and ensure XE is compliant. Monitor local/state/federal incentives for ZEV implementation and key dates to ensure XE captures the full benefit of government incentives.
- Prepare communications to ensure the organization is kept up to date on the ZEV program, including key dates, events, infrastructure changes, and pilots. Develop and present ZEV training to Fleet Operations to ensure mechanics have the tooling (diagnostics), training, and safety standards for the ZEV program.
- Maintain dashboards to track ZEV metrics. Develop insights from research conducted on EV technologies, alternative fuel technologies (e.g., hydrogen), and infrastructure. Create executive level presentations to present findings to leadership and ensure best practices are considered when ZEV decisions are made. Build use cases to shard with clean cities coalitions, research groups, and fleets contemplating ZEV programs.
- Support the ZEV program in collaboration sessions with Fleet and Business Unit teams to document current and future operational requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- One to three years of project management experience with a focus in business planning, fleet management, or EV/AF programs.
- Knowledge of transformation process to move to EV/AF fleet vehicles including technical, legislative, supply chain, fleet, equipment, and infrastructure aspects of the change.
- Experience working with hybrids, EVs, electric charging infrastructure, and other alternative fueling technologies preferred.
- Experience in the automotive industry preferred.
- One year experience with business/data analysis within the utilities sector preferred.
- Demonstrated presentation/training skills.
- Requires collaborating with and influencing others to drive process change.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Up to 20% travel; driver’s license required.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $66,000 to $94,000 per year
