Job Location: Saint Petersburg, FL

AFS is seeking a Mid-level Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to the modeling process from problem definition, through data pipeline and model implementation; applying agile methods to ML development activities

As part of our team you will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of solving difficult National Security problems; from problem definition, data exploration to model implementation to the delivery of production quality Data Science/Machine Learning solutions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will impact real-world projects.


Responsibilities:

  • They will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will impact multiple projects concurrently

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to fit into microservice architectures and interact with complex APIs.

  • Develop strategies to extract, resolve, and unify information of various types from numerous data sources

  • Work with a diverse team of engineers, computer scientists, data scientist and analysts

Here’s what you need:

  • Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Physics, etc.); Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Experience with open source frameworks for Neural Network architectures including Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Caffe;

  • Experience and understanding of Machine Learning methods and frameworks including ensemble methods

  • Understanding of MLOps pipelines and frameworks such as Kubeflow and BentoML


Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in Java, C/C++ and other languages for software development

  • Strong programing skills in Python including experience in creating Restful APIs

  • Experience with predictive logistics and maintenance-based problems, analyzing supply chain data, or processing real time data feeds to produce actionable results

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.


Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $105,200 – $168,400

Colorado: $105,200 – $145,500

New York City: $121,700 – $168,400

Washington: $112,100 – $154,900
