GENESIS data warehouse is a repository of Contracts, Positions and Customer Account balances, across all of Citi, for the use of Finance, Risk and Compliance and any other unit requiring such data.
Data Flow Operations provide operational support in Data Acquisition Controls, Maintenance and Subscription for Genesis and non-Genesis consumers. The group is responsible for onboarding of new feeds into the warehouse, data sanity checks, artifact maintenance, subscription onboarding/delivery and incident management for source-related issues.
This role is based in Tampa/Irving and rolls up to the DFO global lead in Tampa, under the Global Production Assurance organization. The role requires exceptional organizational and communication technique combined with broad analytical skills. Experience with large data analysis and financial industry is preferred. Excellent customer service orientation is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function as SME lead for Genesis inbound feed data quality issues and outbound subscription deliveries. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow, provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and help drive the fixes from the resolver groups.

- Escalate incidents and issues timely to appropriate touch points, e.g. technology teams, if data investigation requires expertise outside of the team, and follow through accordingly
- Apply understanding of concepts and procedures within own business analysis area to resolve issue. Provide sound and critical judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations.
- Manage and track all user inquiries/issues/requests through the relevant tracking systems (Service Now, Resolve It) while adhering to the service level agreements. Escalate incidents and issues to appropriate touch points, on a timely basis and follow through accordingly

Handle day-to-day BAU, implement and execute operational procedures, ensuring that key controls and regular review schedules are in place. Implement and execute operational procedures, ensuring that key controls and regular reviews are in place.
- Primary escalation contact for issues encountered in the onboarding, delivery and performance of DA controls, maintenance and subscription support functions.
- Create clear reports and presentations on metrics and provide relevant interpretation and strategies to stakeholders, when needed.
- Manage and track all user inquiries/issues/requests through the relevant tracking systems(ServiceNow, ResolveIt) while adhering to the service level agreements.

Tap business and functional expertise to drive strategic automation and process improvement initiatives, with focus on activities identified to be critical and/or will impact the operational activities and deliverables of the team. This also includes representing the team in data consumption design/implementation discussions.
- Create comprehensive and clear reports and presentations on metrics and provide relevant interpretation and strategies to stakeholders, when needed.
- Manage all team automation initiatives from inception to implementation.
- Assess risk with every business decision made, in consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Meet continuously changing and aggressive deadlines, while maintaining high standards of quality, and perform other duties/functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be within a commutable distance from the job location as Citi is on a hybrid work schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years Financial and/or regulatory reporting experience from either Technology, Finance or Operations standpoint preferred
- 3+ years experience with issue tracking and reporting using tools
- 3+ years experience or interest in standardization of procedures and practices. Participation in process improvement initiatives
- Database and/or warehouse related skills (e.g. SQL) is an advantage
- Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines, demonstrating independent leadership skills Superior communication skills, with confidence and ability to work with all levels of management
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
