The Planning Operations System Analyst will ensure the successful stabilization of the Crocs planning systems, and support users in day-to-day operations. They will support the planning function data and analytics initiatives, and administration of planning tools.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- The key role of the Analyst is to ensure system is functioning, as expected. Partners with multi-functional internal and external teams on bug identification, prioritization, management, tracking, testing, and deployment
- Performs regular maintenance to keep system functioning for business users, including but not limited to running algorithms and publishing final data sets
- Performs routine data verification and system performance checks to ensure data quality is accurate
- Performs approved configuration improvements. Upon approval, leads improvement from request phase to launch via partnering with business/systems team to define needs, coordinating data, running deployment schedules, facilitates user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment
- Partners with business to align system needs to their processes. Supports ongoing process definition and documentation (as it relates to the system), provides side-by-side operational support for process execution, and work with business teams to adjust activities/due dates based on new processes and/or system slippages
- Provide ongoing support to current module user base via system troubleshooting, office hours, new user training and onboarding, and weekly communications (ex. system bug / enhancement and new functionality updates)
- Partners strongly with relevant internal Planning/Ops Data team, Merchandising, Category Management, Planning EDW Data, IT, Data Governance teams, and external system support teams
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor’s degree focused business, IT, supply chain, planning or related field is required. Professional experience, beyond requirement, in a related filed may substitute for a degree requirement on a year for year basis
- 1-3 years in IT, data, systems planning and/or supply chain; highly desirable to be within a multichannel and global setting particularly in the apparel / footwear business
- Experience with o9 planning software is a plus
- Experience or familiarization with Demand Planning, Open to Buy (OTB), Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Inventory and Service level planning is ideal
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Business Analytics Tools is required
- Ability to articulate business requirements and formulate concise solutions to sophisticated problems
- Strong organizational and detail management skills
- Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Strong multi-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in English required
