Job description
Our Zulily corporate headquarters is in Seattle, WA, and this position is available for remote work in the following states: WA, OH, NV, PA, TX, NC, GA, NJ and FL.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support our customer facing product management team and executive teams by creating new data solutions, unlocking new insights, and making actionable recommendations to the business. You will solve complex business problems through analytics, evaluate the company based on metrics, and partner with product managers and stakeholders to support the needs of the product team to recommend and analyze multivariate experiments and evaluate the success criteria for rolling these experiments out.

Zulily’s web analytics team works with product managers and the business to derive strategic insights, communicate those insights, and recommend strategies aimed at driving sustainable growth through a great customer experience on site and apps. In addition to working with our Shopping Experience Team product managers , this team works with key stakeholders across merchandising, marketing, advertising, finance, platform and infosec. Your Impact
- Support and lead analyses using data, insights, and measurements to influence decision-makers throughout the organization.
- Understand key business drivers of growth and profitability to provide data-driven support for financial modeling and leaders.
- Develop and streamline necessary reporting, dashboards, and one-off analyses, providing the ability to monitor initiatives while effectively communicating performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and operationalize key performance indicators (KPIs) for short and long-term measurements that align with the company goals.
- Effectively partner and influence across business functions to understand key drivers of their operational areas.
- Prepare and present quantitative analyses to influence partners and senior leadership.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Statistics, Economics, or a similar field) and a minimum of 5 years in an analytical role or 3 years plus a Master’s Degree; experience supporting Finance is preferred by not required.
- Experience digging into data, structuring problems, and building models and analyses that you can translate into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience extracting and manipulating large data sets using SQL required
- Fluency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau (or similar dashboard software).
- Demonstrated experience in presenting information to diverse audiences to influence decisions and impact the bottom line
