What You’ll Be Doing:
Who You’ll Be Working With:
The Associate Director, Client Analytics Implementation utilizes and develops project management tools to solve complex business implementation challenges as well as support decision making that can have a considerable impact on the organization and patient health. This role supports both Client Implementation activities as well as Business Development efforts.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Partner with Business Development, Implementations, and Analytics to develop a successful client onboarding roadmap
  • Accountable for the project management of all analytical needs throughout the client implementation process
  • Accountable for capturing critical information of a new client involving analytical/pricing assumptions, product management, and contractual terms
  • Develop and implement a client readiness strategy and associated tools to successfully track and document the client implementation cycle from an analytics perspective
  • Key Liaison between the Client and internal Analytics/IT departments for data acquisition and data warehouse integration
  • Analyze impact of deviations from original underwriting during implementation and make recommendations to leadership
  • Assist in performing analyses pertaining to contractual commitments
  • Onboard and Train Client Analytics Staff on newly implemented clients
  • Draw actionable conclusions from analyses and effectively communicate to internal/external audiences at various levels of the enterprise
  • Lead and facilitate interaction with customers in a manner that fosters expertise and cooperation
  • Perform research and analysis of complex healthcare claims, eligibility, and pharmacy data regarding health plan cost & use and make recommendations based on relevant findings
  • Serving as a subject matter expert across multiple technical and/or business domains
The Experience You’ll Need (Required):
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a healthcare focus (health administration, epidemiology, public health, biology) or a quantitative major (e.g. actuarial, statistics, operations research, mathematics, economics)
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in claims-based healthcare analytics with a payer, provider, clinical vendor, managed care, or related healthcare consulting entity
  • Experience with managing client implementation projects from end to end
  • Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders to solve problems; ability to translate between business needs and analytical needs
  • Advanced or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced or higher proficiency in SQL or SAS database/statistical programming languages
  • Moderate Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Exceptionally strong analytical abilities, with track record of identifying insights from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies and calculations such as DRGs, Revenue Codes, CPT Codes, RVUs, bundled payments, etc.
  • Knowledge of health insurance financial business cycle, healthcare quality reporting, and benchmarking
  • Working knowledge of healthcare claims; specifically, differences between institutional vs professional billing and various sites of care/service
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
  • Master’s Degree, especially with a quantitative focus (e.g. data science, machine learning, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering)
  • 5+ years of healthcare economics experience
  • Prior people management experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare underwriting methodologies
  • Familiarity with value-based care and utilization management
  • Understanding of data systems and the critical thinking skills to solve new problems and adapt to changes in data architecture
  • Advanced or higher proficiency in SQL or SAS database/statistical programming language
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI.), Visual Basic, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Technical requirements:
Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 MBPS and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $100,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
