Enterprise Cybersecurity is a central Information Security organization within Fidelity Investments serving the Enterprise as a whole. This role is within the Software Engineering Domain which supports the Detect and Respond Product Area in implementing & managing best-in-class Cybersecurity solutions to protect Fidelity Systems & Data.

Daily news stories describe cyber breaches and the ways that companies and individuals are victimized. To protect our customers and Fidelity’s reputation, it is imperative that the firm and all associates take protective steps. The Insider Threat Engineering team within Enterprise Cybersecurity does just that – working every day to ensure that Fidelity and our customers stay safe.

The Team

As a Senior Software Developer supporting the ECS Insider Threat Squad, you will be applying your strong software development practices to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Fidelity’s Insider Threat portfolio, including, where applicable, the evaluation and integration of Opensource and/or Cloud technologies. You will also be supporting your team in adopting software development best practices and adhering to development standards to ensure we are building the right tools and capabilities to address the organizations strategic needs. The responsibilities of this role include working with our business partners to assess security gaps, recommend, develop, and support solutions for risk mitigation and optimize existing security tools and capabilities.

While Software development and automation skills are paramount, this candidate should possess a fundamental background in Information Security and Data Loss Prevention concepts.
