About this role:
Gartner’s Product Management Organization, we design, develop and build interactive tools that deliver unparalleled insights and drive value for Gartner clients. Working on a new product you will discover and analyze large volumes of data and deliver benchmarks & insights to our clients that they find valuable. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a POD structure with Gartner’s senior executives, business units, technology teams, facilitating better decision making among product leaders through consistency and quality in our data and reporting pipeline. You will guide & mentor junior data experts to build new systems that consume internal and external data as well as be ready to roll up your sleeves, honing your technical as well as people management skills.
What you will do:

Partner closely with product leaders throughout the product life cycle to identify product goals, benchmarks, happy paths and data collection opportunities and establish best practices and processes for ensuring data quality.

Build processes to collect, measure, structure, and improve quality of mission critical data

Define requirements for opportunities to automate further, in collaboration with product, data science, and engineering teams

Design and manage dashboards for the Product Management and leadership team

Develop systems & processes to capture, transform and analyze client usage data from Gartner tools for executives across the entire Gartner enterprise, leading to better business performance
What you will need:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or associated technical field
-
6+ years of experience in data analytics, transforming, data management
-
Expertise in building and maintaining data systems/databases from multiple sources
-
Experience in Python and relational DB (SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
-
Experience with Business Intelligence Platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
-
Demonstrated ability to build automated workflows
-
Familiarity with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, Azure etc
