Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Power BI Developer/SME

Responsibilities

Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights




Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI




Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those Analyzing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making




Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish




Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models




Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations




Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics




Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.




Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.




Redefine and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems




Create customize charts and custom calculations as per requirements




Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions as per needs




SQL querying for best results, use of filters and graphs for better understanding of data




Work with users and team members at all levels for performance improvement and suggestions




Building Analysis Services reporting models.




Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.




Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.




Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.




Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.




Adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.




Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.




Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.




Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure SQL, M-Code etc.




Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS). Also, one must be experienced in developing custom visuals for PowerBI.




Good Knowledge on M-Code functions used in Power Query.




Good troubleshooting skills on PowerBI Service-related issues.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Any Graduate




Preferred Qualifications – PowerBI, Basic understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, ability to work with Microsoft office suite, Visio, Advance Excel,SQL

Preferred qualifications

Excellent analytical skills & attention to detail




Customer management exposure and good presentation skills is a must


Ability to lead calls with clients / other business function independently




Should have excellent client handling skills




Ability to handle pressure – Timelines and Customer Demands




Self-motivated and execution oriented




Team worker and should have people/peer management experience




High MS-Office skills (Advanced excel preferred)




Should be capable of handling lots of data in an efficient and effective manner.




LEAN/Six Sigma Trained, Tested & Certified (preferred)


Knowledge of Forecasting techniques would be an added advantage
