Job Location: Remote
Iterative Scopes is seeking a Data Quality Analyst for their Platform Engineering team. You will be part of the engineering leadership team and work collaboratively to analyze data that is ingested from multiple sources and within our data pipelines. You will also provide analysis on quality of data and algorithms that operate on the data.
What you’ll be doing
- Own creation of dashboards and data analysis programs in Python notebooks, Splunk, and other data analysis tools
- Review and revise data analysis scripts created by other engineers
- Present analyzed data to engineering and management to report, confirm, or decline hypotheses about data quality issues
What we’re looking for in you
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related quantitative field, with 2 years practical experience OR An Advanced/Graduate Degree with 1 year practical experience in an industrial or research setting
- Experience using Python and related libraries (i.e. Pandas) for Data Analysis
- Experience in using SQL
- Experience in statistical techniques (i.e. Tableau Package) used in hypothesis testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to describe complex technical concepts to colleagues with varying degrees of technical background
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with general Software Quality Assurance Engineering techniques and tools
- Experience with Data Analysis platforms such as Tableau, is highly preferred
- Experience with Data Visibility platforms such as Splunk is also highly preferred
- Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is preferred
- Experience working with more data types, such as EMR, genomics, biometrics, images is also preferred
- Experience in AWS services, Boto3, QA automation tools, CI/CD is highly preferred
- Experience working in startup environments is also highly preferred
