About this team
The Business Intelligence Developer will play a key role on our Finance Data and Analytics team in our journey to become a data-led organization. This person will be an advocate for data & analytics across the organization and be key in enabling business leaders and teams to the possibilities of new insights and ideas through data. This position will work extensively with our Finance teams, project stakeholders, and technology team members to define, implement, sustain and leverage our data ecosystem across our programs.
We are looking for a passionate and organized individual who is excited about delivering data-driven capabilities to meet lululemon’s growing insights, analytics and intelligence needs. This individual should have a track record of working in a collaborative environment and should take pride in evolving the organization to create the future data technology platform for growth. This person should have experience in retail reporting and analytics.
A day in the life
- Act as data consultant to the team and business to help unlock insights and define what’s possible
- Drive work to completion and effectively manage and report on scope, risks & issues, and timelines
- Build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives
- Bring your report development expertise to life in Power BI and SSRS through story telling and visualizations
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in IT, Program Management, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent
- At least 3+ years’ experience in an IT role in Big Data, data science, insight, intelligence and analytics solutions with a understanding of data warehouses and how to build star schemas
- Strong proficiency and proven work experience in SQL, Power BI, SSRS, DAX
- Ability to lead projects, collaborate, and work with stakeholders to drive data solutions
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed analysis and present insights to business stakeholders
- Experience working in a project/product matrixed organization at a major retailer
- Ability to successfully manage priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organization
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and operating under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation. Must be able to communicate technical concepts in business-oriented terms
- Willing to travel on an as needed basis, no more than 10%
- Experience in creating financial reports preferred
