POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Analyst is a business representative for the end-to-end processes used within RightAngle and associated applications. The role interacts with business leaders, subject matter experts, and IT to validate functional and system requirements, develop business cases, explore and implement process improvement suggestions, and execute problem resolutions within the RightAngle-based solution set.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, with strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills and tenacity to work through process improvements and change readiness opportunities for the benefit of MPC. The candidate will work with a wide array of organizations and business functions within MPC and will work closely with other Business Process Analysts. The candidate should be able to work in a team environment and maintain a strong business partnering focus.
Knowledge of RightAngle functional domain, implementation, and development processes is beneficial, as well as business knowledge with Accounting, Risk, Trading, or Scheduling. Experience with HP Quality Center, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and ServiceNow would also be beneficial but not required.

**This position is a part of a job family with multiple levels. The successful candidate will be placed at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications.**
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create and maintain master data including but not limited to User Access, Business Associates, Products, Locations, Price Curves, Transaction Types, Account Coding, Operating Calendars, Movement Plans and Logistics Deals in RightAngle.
  • Create and maintain numerous cross references that allow for the interfacing of data between systems including Kittyhawk, RFF, MPR, Aura and IPER.
  • Provide first line of support to the RightAngle user base and assist users with questions concerning Deal Capture, Order Creation, Sales Invoicing, Payable Invoicing, Accounting Close, Reporting and Data Retrieval, and Scheduled Tasks.
  • Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and frame problem in RightAngle terms.
  • Coordinate with IT and Business Users to maintain, monitor and prioritize system enhancement activities.
  • Develop, maintain and deliver user training and documentation.
  • Coordinate MPC involvement in ION (RightAngle) Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as needed.
  • Establish and maintain expertise in business processes, including trading, scheduling, accounting, and risk analytics.
  • Keep abreast of RightAngle trends and innovations for respective process areas or functional areas.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Business or IT preferred
  • 2 years of industry-related experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledgeable in RightAngle
