What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our new operational data analytics team. The senior analyst will develop key metrics to measure customer health and operational performance, enable ops business users to extensively self-serve on data, provide ad hoc query support, and identify business insights to optimize our biggest cost drivers.

What you’ll do:

• Build critical operational reports to execute critical, data-based operations
• Develop key metrics to measure customer health and operational performance, with an eye toward both the ops stakeholder and the rest of the business
• Build strong, proactive relationships with key ops counterparts, including helping them define their needs and scope requirements
• Provide varying, ad hoc query support as needed to unblock active operational challenges
• Be a subject matter expert on all key operational data and help ensure consistent use of that data by all analytics teams, including via documentation and peer mentorship
• As one of the first operational analytics hires, help establish the culture and processes for Arcadia’s ops analytics team

What will help you succeed

Must-haves:

• 5+ years in data analytics, business analytics, data science, statistics, or related field
• Consistent record of proactive exploratory data analysis, distilling actionable insights and recommendations, and telling a story with data
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including with senior stakeholders and with analytics peers
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Comfortable managing a combination of fast-paced ad hoc work and long-term projects
• Extensive experience BI tools like Looker or Tableau
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice-to-haves:

• Statistics basics
• Basics of Python or R
• Familiarity with dbt or other data modeling systems and techniques
• Experience working with business operations teams
