Summary Description: This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining Whataburger’s cloud-based Infrastructure Systems and managing their integration with on-premises technologies. Ensures that Whataburger’s systems infrastructure and processes support and anticipate information technology needs. Significantly responsible for resolving technical issues, maintaining systems performance, and ensuring cloud-based and on-premises systems comply with security and configuration best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs administrative duties such as system upgrades, planning, scheduling, and coordination software and hardware in support of requests and implementations. Participates in outage resolution documentation, project status updates and change management. Monitors, measures, capacity plans and tests current/new infrastructure products and services.
  • Identify, Analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
  • Manage all aspects of Azure including VMs, virtual networks, NSG, firewall and various PaaS services used by the company, including but not limited to: web services, windows virtual desktop (WVD), backup and storage accounts.
  • Perform Level 3 cloud services support. Provide troubleshooting steps and operational documentation to Level 1/2 support team.
  • Provide technical expertise around the collaboration offerings, including process, standards, best practices for the platform
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify high performing cloud-based solutions. Contributes to future planning, implementation and support of emerging cloud technologies.
  • Research recommendations or solutions for upgrades, improvements, and strategies to ensure a stable, available, and protected technical infrastructure.
  • Develops and ensures infrastructure documentation, i.e., design and environment specifications, user and technical manuals and processmethodology documentation. Documents server and process configurations and performs updates to those documents as environment changes.
  • Implements Change Management by assisting in supporting new infrastructure products and coordinating and planning activities, tasks and efforts that could impact technical infrastructure.
  • Responds to after hour pages and participates in rotational On-Call schedule.
  • Consults with resources and industry experts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiencies technical infrastructure.
  • Ensures measures are in place to provide system security, stability, availability, reliability, and recoverability. Performs security patch and version upgrades on systems/servers in accordance with corporate guidelines. Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Develops and promotes standard operating procedures. Conducts routine system audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities, as assigned.

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience required

Experience:

  • Experience in four or more of the following:

    Azure Cloud Services or related experience with other cloud hosting platforms

    Office 365 Services (SharePoint, Power Automate, Dynamics, Power Bi, Teams, ETC)

    Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

    VMware ESX

    Web Server Infrastructure and web services delivery

    Windows and LINUX server maintenance

    Programming and Scripting languages

    Security best practices for cloud and on-premises technology

    Hybrid cloud integration design and implementation

  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud Services

Knowledge, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Fraud Analysts play a crucial role within Western Union’s Financial Intelligence Unit by helping protect the company and its customers from the risks associated with consumer fraud and money laundering. Salary

The annual gross base salary range is $55,000-$80,000 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.

  • Experience in requirements gathering and documentation using techniques like user stories, business process flow, use case, system flow, state diagrams and data maps preferred
