Job Location: Indianapolis, IN
This position is part of the Roche Diagnostics, Global Supply Chain (GSC) group. Within GSC, we manage a very large and complex portfolio of products crossing disciplines such as logistics, transportation, warehousing, order management, planning, and more. As a Sr Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for generating insights for the GSC group with a special focus on US Operations.
Candidates should be prepared to own the product development lifecycle including, data administration, transformation/aggregation, and visualization. Core tasks will include managing complex projects, engaging with and presenting to stakeholders, and identifying potential projects. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable mentoring junior team members and establishing best practices.
Job Duties:

Develop, implement, and maintain innovative analytic solutions

Provide sustained and ad hoc reporting and analysis involving complex datasets across a variety of platforms

Manage and maintain an established SQL database
-
Analyzes business operations to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.

Carry out analyses to identify potentials and initiate the corresponding optimization activities, e.g. balancing key KPIs of supply, inventories, write-offs

Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data

Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships

Collaborate with global partners to ensure best business practices and leverage the skills of the larger business intelligence community
Minimum requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
-
4 years of business/systems analysis/analytical experience
-
2 years experience with SQL or similar query language
-
2 years experience with data visualization software such as Tableau
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with data forecasting and modeling
-
Experience with Supply Chain/Logistics operations including material handling, warehouse operations, order management, demand planning, etc.

Proficiency with ETL software such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau Prep, etc.

Proficiency in SAP applications
-
Experience with Snowflake
-
Experience working with Agile/DevOps methodology
