Equivalent Experience
Description:
1 Technical Systems Analysts. These individuals should have a college degree and be early in their career, however, they should have some real world experience. Internships or jobs in college would be fine. a few years experience in a larger environment. They will be responsible for reviewing the applications that will be moving from the customer. They should have a degree in mis or cis, and understand BI, systems and applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work with small to medium teams to identify bottle necks or issues related to new systems and the moving of applications.
- Demonstrates an understanding of development capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Excellent communications skills – Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Overall knowledge of Operating Systems – Windows / Linux
- Overall knowledge of software development languages specific to your domain. Examples include Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C#, .NET, PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, HTML
- Knowledge of SQL Scripting and ability to analyze data.
It is important to note that they are looking for people earlier in their careers with college MiS or CIS degree’s. If they have real world experience in any of those areas and show the ability to understand technology overall, they will excel in this position. We are not looking for Developers, or systems engineers but well-rounded technologist. with excellent written and verbal skills. they will work with different layers of management, functional and technical. they will interact with networking teams, systems teams and apps support teams. They will not be the experts but work with them so they should have the following
- Familiarity or some experience with PowerBi / Reporting tools/software
- Familiarity or some experience with experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
- Familiarity or some experience with any of: Windows Server Management / Administration, Database Administration, Database Performance Tuning, Active Directory
- Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners

- Very unlikely that they will ever need to be on site, will need to get NERC-CIP certified but Constellation with help provide that for the individuals as they will be maintaining and enhancing their business units.
- These individuals would help maintain all the modules within Assurx and if there are any new technologies coming out.
- They would be working on the collaboration of different teams, so they would need to be wearing multiple hats.
o Sometimes they might have to do a process in AssurX- what makes a good software design? Anything we can change soon? There could be a process that has already been done through Exelon; they will run that copy and use what Exelon has.
- They will be working with multiple teams since there will be a NERC-CIP environment. They must work with owners of modules, patch management, any stats on the assets, check if all the data is flowing in, is it scripted right. All these processes above, they would be made sure to maintain this.
- There will be a ServiceNow implementation that will happen at the latter over the 2 years of the contract.
- PowerBI would be a plus and an understanding any type of Business systems.
o Some questions they would be presented with: What reporting systems can we use? How would this look like and what do the workflows look like until we get there?
- After looking and evaluating everything, if it is a database issue, the individuals will interact with the database team and need to figure out what would follow.
- There won’t be much Cloud at all. Cloud might be presented in 4 years
