DataOps IT Process Analyst – Project Manager
DataOps has an extremely fractured toolset landscape. We’d like someone who can help us focus our delivery status into a coherent picture across our space, while we build a foundation for streamlined processes and work toward consolidation of our toolsets. We have a backlog of about 100 items so far, providing ample opportunity to drive change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with our DataOps team to resolve well-articulated process challenges related to knowledge management, project
management, and operations, for which the team is unable to devote the capacity and sufficient time to resolve.
- Provide DataOps with a dedicated resource to help us address these challenges, build momentum, and make the case for change.
- Analyze DataOps processes and build new ones.
- Outline ROI metrics in time and/or dollars where appropriate.
- Engineer our delivery status into a coherent picture across our space while we build a foundation for streamlined processes and work toward consolidation of our toolsets.
- Assist the DataOps Director with enforcing adherence to our processes as well as highlighting our current processes state identify gaps within those processes.
- Provide feedback to the DataOps Director’s vision and guidance.
- Gather and process data to identify process performance areas.
- Create and present progress reports.
Skills:
- Experience with Quality documentation and Microsoft stack skills is a plus.
- Power BI – used to aggregate data from ServiceNow and Monday.com.
- Project apps:

o Azure DevOps for projects.
- Understanding of business & technical functions, workflows, and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of workflow and process control software.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and interviewing skills.
- Experience with team management.
- Goal-oriented, innovative thinker.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Service Management (ITIL preferred) training and practical experience.
- Ability to facilitate effective meetings with clear agendas and minutes.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, global work environment and the ability to work on multiple time-sensitive activities concurrently are critical.
- Demonstrated strong customer management, negotiation, appropriate critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build networks with diverse groups of individuals and to work effectively within geographically dispersed teams and partners.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Focus on shared learning and best practices, team player.
- Ability to work in a global, virtual organization.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with data platforms, capabilities and solutions strongly preferred.
- Experience of the Animal Health/Life Science Industry.
- Strong self-management.
- Comfortable in providing suggestions and improvement ideas to the DataOps Director and team members.
- Ability to bring diverse groups with different agendas together and be successful at defining common goals without being confrontational.
