The Analytics Lead will plan, lead, direct and support the Workday reporting needs within and across Marmon’s businesses, and lead workforce analytics and proactive reporting to provide business insights and enable decisions. In addition, this role will provide governance for data definition and standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Align data and standards collaboratively across Groups at Marmon.
  • Create analytics and audit methodology for supporting the business.
  • Design Workday reports to help managers make decisions about business strategy or performance using data analysis methods such as statistical testing, pattern recognition, and predictive modeling.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes based on data analysis findings.
  • Provide recommendations for improving the efficiency of existing business processes based on findings from data analysis projects.
  • Develop, test, and maintain Workday Reports, Dashboards, and Scorecards supporting People Experience strategy and systems.
  • Ensure data are accurately analyzed and interpreted, presenting patterns and trends in a clear, concise manner to business partners.
  • Respond to, manage, and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests including working with stakeholders to establish requirements, determining if solution already exists/what the right solution is, building required calculated fields, testing report validity.
  • Troubleshoot and solution data mapping/reporting discrepancies.
  • Revise and executes production schedules for routine and specific report requests.
  • Create and maintain EIB Templates.
  • Effectively prioritizes workload comprised of both transactional and project-based tasks
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Creates and maintains process documentation.
  • Maintains confidentiality, appropriately protects employee personnel data.
  • Understand functional and technical architecture of Workday and related interfaces that serve as data providers.
  • Leads or supports other projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of Workday Reporting experience, including calculated fields and dashboards
  • At least 3 years of experience leading requirements gathering efforts

Additional skills / preferences:

  • Experience creating data science standards and practices.
  • Business analyst experience.
  • Excellent command of Workday reporting, calculated fields, and dashboards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.
  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
  • Domestic travel required; up to 25%

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Performs other duties as required.
