Fireworks Inventory Analyst

JOB SUMMARY
The Fireworks Inventory Analyst is a salaried role that provides continuous reporting and analysis in support of WDW Fireworks Production & Administration product inventory. This role manages the flow of the supply chain, takes a new perspective on existing solutions, and exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
The Analyst develops processes and implements technology solutions to maximize on hand product usage and improve ordering accuracy and delivery timing. This role must be able to manage many streams of work simultaneously, continually ensuring compliance with federal regulations (ATF, DOT, and EPA) regarding the handling, use, storage, and disposal of regulated pyrotechnic materials. This position provides product usage data reports to leadership to support analysis required for supply chain planning and maintenance. The Analyst solves complex problems, works independently, and acts as a resource for colleagues and internal partners.
JOB RESPONSBILITIES
- Develop comprehensive strategies and processes for product procurement logistics
- Liaison to SAP, Finale Inventory, and other IT systems specialists
- Maintain compliance with Federal regulations by overseeing accurate record keeping, storage, handling, and shipping practices of pyrotechnic materials
- Manage multiple concurrent timelines for product procurement
- Contributes actionable ideas in brainstorming and planning sessions
- Provide support and assist with ad hoc requests / special projects for team objectives
- Provide reporting to forecast resource needs from international and domestic vendors
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated high level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn new applications and analytical tools.
- High level of performance in strategic thinking
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in accounting, logistics, warehousing, or related experience
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities with high accuracy and minimal supervision
- Working in close proximity to hazardous materials, such as explosives, on a daily basis
- Ability to be approved by the ATF as an Employee Possessor
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous or current Employee Possessor at WDW
- SAP experience (Warehouse module) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with programming languages VBA, Python, Java, SQL
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCTION
BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field
