About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Management Analyst for the Enterprise Data Controls Management (EDCM) team, part of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) within Data Management & Insights (DMI). This position will be responsible for leading various initiatives and/or strategic projects for Data Risk & Controls program.

  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs
  • Lead various strategic and/or change initiatives to support the Data Risk & Controls program
  • Partner with other DMI groups to support regulatory and/or audit requests related to Data Controls and/or Data Quality
  • Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
  • Understand the Data Management policy, procedures and Data Risk & Control framework and drive implementation of Data Control framework
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Create powerful presentations or other compelling materials for an effective storytelling
  • Develop solutions for complex business problems to deliver a better customer experience
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
  • Review and redesign the Data Quality (DQ) processes, templates and procedures to drive simplification, consistency, efficiencies and address business partners’ feedback.
  • Manage communication of Data Controls framework with internal/external stakeholders
  • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy

Required qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Data Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of data management related areas such as metadata or lineage, data governance or data quality.
  • 5+ years of experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
  • 4+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
  • 3+ years of risk identification and documentation experience

Desired qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 1+ year of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) experience
  • Strong project management and change management experience
  • Demonstrated strong technical writing skills including the proven ability to clearly document activities, processes and procedures
  • Experience with developing and creating documentation for support and training activities
  • Experience in Data Risk & Controls management
  • Experience in delivering trainings through powerful content

Job Expectations:

  • Work from Office 3 days a week with 2 days remote work from home
