Job Detail:
We are looking for a Web Data Analyst to support a B2B marketing org at a leading camera company. This role will take support with data and insights in key segments of the global team’s business unit for the website to optimize the site, as well as help drive the team’s global business strategy, inform its execution, improve efficiency and facilitate customers’ success at scale.
This role will help to drive data-informed strategies for the organization, measuring our business goals and KPIs, conducting deep-dive analyses, and facilitating insights-based decisions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working directly with our growth, sales and marketing teams to define and scale programs to grow advertisers and their revenue and success with our company as a whole. They will have a proven track record in business analytics, pattern recognition from complex data sets, managing stakeholders, recognizing patterns of success (and failure) quickly, and working with partners from sales to marketing to engineering. Success in this position requires a passion for strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Take part in optimization efforts for our products site, where advertisers come to buy ad space
- Utilize Google Analytics for ingestion & reporting of data
- Experiment via A/B testing for the website.
- Be a contributor supporting our product’s global advertiser growth or the revenue organizations
- Support deep-dive analyses using analytical and statistical tools on very large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets
- Identify levers for revenue & retention growth, efficiency enhancement and investments to unlock non-linear business growth
- Support the development of our predictive algorithms across a number of different areas all with the aim of better understanding our customer and our business
- Design and influence proactive programs to drive advertiser growth and revenue for the global SMB organization
- Advocate for key insights and recommendations with partner teams, including product, marketing, sales and operations
- Establish a rigorous set of KPIs and metrics (input and output) for measuring advertiser growth, revenue and retention
- Build forecasting models when needed
- Create dashboards using internal reporting tools, provide reporting summaries for the state of the business & monitor ongoing experiments.
- Provide quantitative support, market understanding and a strategic perspective to our organization and its partner teams on all questions involving small and medium businesses
- Drive communication and influence a broad range of stakeholders including executives.

Minimum Qualifications
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or Finance).
- 4+ years of experience in online media/marketing measurement, analytics, or statistics, preferably in a consumer / SMB business.
- Experience with web optimization, preferably in tech
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Experience in SQL, Python, Airflow and packages such as SAS, R, or Stata, along with working knowledge of tools such as Looker, Tableau, Salesforce, Qlik, Google Sheets or similar such tools are preferred
- Experience working with sales, marketing, and/or customer service organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in an analytical field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, behavioral or social science, or engineering.
- Statistical analysis experience, including but not limited to experimental design, regression modeling, and machine learning.
- Experience working with analytics and ROI measurement with small businesses.
- Experience with online or digital ad measurement.
