Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

The ALM Insights VP – Transform is responsible for:

  • Act as an IRRBB Modelling Lead for the ALM Transform Programme, providing subject matter expertise on ALM and ALM Reporting including model design, model architecture and regulatory compliance and interpretation
  • Oversee and perform testing of change ensuring that deliverables meet requirements and are business ready ensuring all appropriate controls and governance are place
What will you be doing?
Key accountabilities of this role:

  • Responsible for informing and agreeing with key stakeholders ALM Insights requirements for each change deliverable
  • Produce high quality documentation clearly communicating target state operating model design and requirements, ensuring all change designs incorporate full adherence to control standards
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to ensure that model design and architecture meet the wider ALM programme objectives and regulatory expectations
  • Review change plans to ensure they provide commercial value as well as regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the wider ALM, Technology and Transformation teams to establish a robust and efficient testing protocol to ensure that change meets agreed requirements and business readiness expectations
  • Responsible for ensuring all designs and change meet control and governance expectations both in the short and long term
  • Work with the modelling team to ensure that all products are modelled correctly in the ALM Model and that risk metrics such as AEaR and EVE are calculated accurately.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a IRRBB reporting role with an in-depth understanding of measurement techniques and hedging strategies
  • Excellent awareness of the regulatory and control environment.
  • Experience of large change programmes
  • Highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and effective, clear communication skills, both written and oral.
