What You Will Do

Your Day to Day Essential Duties
- Plan, design, develop, test, and launch efficient business, financial, and operational BI solutions in
support of core organizational functions and business processes.
- Collaborate with data owners to understand business requirements and common analysis use cases
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills in order to frame up data models and concepts that meet
user and business requirements.
- Work with Database Administrators and Developers to define technical requirements and participate
in code review and approval processes.
- Apply software engineering best practices like version control, documentation and continuous
integration to the analytics code base.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards in BI tooling and streamline code changes for releases.
- Support end user access and understanding of BI environment, facilitate training needs, promote
development of self-service capabilities.
- Educate stakeholders on value and use of information and operational data to help maximize the
benefit of BI systems.
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in directly related positions.
- Proficient with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), Excel, and SharePoint.
- Experience with complex data aggregation, relational databases, data schemas and data
visualization.
- 3-year experience with SQL scripting
- Python and DBT experience preferred
- Experience implementing and promoting new BI tool
- Familiarity with data pipeline services such (Fivetran, Stitch) and cloud warehouse tooling experience
is a plus
- Ability to learn quickly; use data to communicate a call-to-action, communicate technical information
to nontechnical audience; accept and quickly respond to business changes; must readily adapt to
changes in workload and additional time commitments.
- Must have a high level of analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Handles sensitive and confidential data/information
