Job Detail:
We’re seeking a Junior IT Support Analyst to join our IT Service Desk team, where you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for all system users. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading personal computer hardware and software systems. This is a full-time, hybrid position that offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site.
As a Junior IT Support Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:
Configuring and installing hardware and software for users
Responding to network and software problems via telephone, in-person, and/or online support to end-users
Completing new hire set-up and training users on new software and hardware, when needed
Applying technical expertise to the implementation, monitoring, or maintenance of IT systems
Resolving hardware or software problems in response to user questions and requests for assistance by diagnosing the source of malfunctions, recommending corrective actions, and/or consulting with appropriate staff or vendor
Helping to maintain the security of the network, including administering e-mail and anti-virus systems and ensuring availability, continuity, and security of data
Providing updates, status, and completion information to IT manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail, or in-person communication
Recommending changes or updates in programming, documentation, and training to address system deficiencies and user needs
To Be Considered For This Role, You Should Have
Knowledge of all forms of hardware: laptops, servers, desktops, printers, monitors, and peripherals
Instinctive problem-solving abilities and curiosity to seek out, analyze, and correct or avoid computer systems problems
Knowledge of Windows 10 operating system
Knowledge of MS 365 Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint
Experience using service desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
High school diploma or equivalency
1 – 3 years of relevant work experience in help desk / customer service / end user support
Experience in hardware, software, network troubleshooting, complex operating system functionality or equivalent
Experience completing minor repair work to IT systems
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
Experience or familiarity supporting general business technology (User accounts/passwords, Wired/Wireless Networks, Printers/Copiers, Conference Rooms, and Mobile Devices) strongly desired
Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders
Experience imaging machines using Endpoint / Intune
Ability to analyze computer system problems or errors and devise corrective measures
Excellent customer service skills, written and oral communication, and time management skills
Google IT Support, A+, Network+, MS 365 Fundamentals and /or Azure Fundamentals certification(s) helpful
