  • Vice President, Marketing & Cross-Sell Analytics Strategy

This position is a member of GreenSky’s Marketing and Cross-Sell Analytics team. This VP will lead development of Analytics Strategy to drive higher engagement across existing and new GreenSky Consumer and Merchants through multiple marketing and cross-sell campaigns. This role will lead development and execution of annual Marketing and Cross-Sell Analytics planning, work closely with Client Marketing teams, provide thought leadership and recommend business actions that drive profitable sales growth. This role will partner cross-functionally to deliver comprehensive data insights on product engagement, pricing, marketing initiatives measurement, customer behavior analytics/segmentation, value prop measurement and forecasting. This is a hands-on role that requires daily use of analytical and data-mining tools.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cross-Sell Analytics Agenda/Roadmap: Build data and model driven customer segmentation, customer financial profiles, and work with stakeholders to drive high value projects
  • Partner with lifecycle marketing team: Own the full cycle of analytical deliverables – ideation, data mining and analysis, identification of insights and presenting a business story with recommended actions to the stakeholders
  • Act as a strategy and analytics consultant for marketing initiatives, providing guidance and leadership for the design, analysis and measurement phases of projects
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams in product, marketing, credit, and IT/operations to provide comprehensive insights in consumer engagement
  • Mentor junior analysts on the team: Lead and prioritize workload of offshore analysts to ensure high-quality execution and delivery of analytics, measurement and reporting projects
  • Create “test” and “learn”, build pro-forma and recommend targeting strategies/optimization using advanced analytical tools such as segmentation and other statistical models
  • Implement and automate data visualization tools to measure and diagnose portfolio performance that allow stakeholders to understand trajectory of KPIs to enable better forecasting and management of the portfolio.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience working for a financial services company – Bank or Fintech in risk management, analytics, marketing or data science
  • 2+ years of team management and leadership experience in financial services industry
  • 4+ years of hands on experience in solving analytical problems using data in areas of marketing, customer management and risk
  • Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a related field
  • Experience managing several projects simultaneously and driving end-to-end project delivery
  • Knowledge of SAS/SQL, Python or an equivalent programming language to guide the team in delivering on analytics and reporting
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to articulate complex ideas, express and defend a point of view, and influence outcomes
  • Knowledge of U.S. consumer business P&L, credit bureau data and Risk Scorecards
