Job Location: Miramar, FL

Job Detail:

Position: Healthcare Analytics-

Covid 19 Vaccine Required

Location: Onsite, Miramar

PR: $25-$27/hr

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Must Haves:

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Healthcare Admin)

Heavy PPT/Excel

Healthcare Knowledge

Day to Day

Responsible for supporting VAP functions to include but not limited to, research, analytics and compliance for supplies, services and equipment. Plans, executes and manages VAP projects under the direction of the Value Analysis Director.

Detailed responsibilities:

• Prepares accurate and timely reports and presentations related to initiatives brought into the VAP process as requested by the Director of Value Analysis.

• Reviews documents, forms and analytics in preparation for the scheduled VAP meetings or other committees. Manages and maintains VAP calendar.

• Under the direction of the Value Analysis Director, performs research on products /services with focus on evidence-based information to ensure quality and clinical efficacy to improve and guide patient care processes.

• Incumbent will use current tools: Value view, knowledge service library available in the Supply Chain portfolio as well as MHS research sites

• Coordinates with Business Intelligence Analyst to prepare financial analytics and validates those with members of the VAP teams.

• Participates in product evaluations throughout the system; ensures all product evaluations are performed in an objective manner.

• Coordinates educational activities related to implementation of new products and services. Collaborates with the Education Department to develop and design an effective educational strategy.

• Facilitates the communication between vendors, clinical staff, and key Healthcare System departments so compliance and acceptance of new product is achieved. Performs follow-up audits on implemented items and determines areas for improvement.

• Assists VAP Director in performing daily office operations as needed.

• Monitors initiatives to assure proper compliance.

• Provides clinical benchmarks, develops timelines, document results based on decisions made in the VAP and communicating them appropriately.

• Responsible for Recall management follow up and execution.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Works collaboratively with Sourcing team on evaluating and/or monitoring initiatives

• Collaborate with the Sourcing, Purchasing and Central Teams on roll-out of initiatives and other pertinent activities.

• Works with Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and vendor community.
