JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Analyst assists with compiling and organizing sales and managed care data to identify key trends and opportunities for optimization of work and decision making. They will provide reporting, conduct analysis to gain deeper insights for opportunities by maintaining the functional areas of data management, forecasting, leads, dashboards, and reports.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with maintenance and creation of large data file for part numbers and attributes.
  • Assist with analysis of various territories.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand & define reporting needs.
  • Design, develop, deliver reporting deliverables with detailed analysis to drive action & business decision making
  • Become an expert in our CRM, reporting tools, sales teams, and processes.
  • Utilize Excel and other tools to perform extensive data analysis.
  • Improve and maintain sales efficiency.
  • Partner with sales leadership to ensure our sales and managed care teams are supported and successful.
  • Analyze and respond to inquiries from members of our sales and managed care team.
  • Prepares sales forecasts and collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales goals.
  • Maintain customer contact database.
  • Identify and build/improve key sales processes to ensure efficiency and high performance across teams that scale over time.
  • Ad-hoc reporting as needed.


PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Financial analysis and forecasting experience preferred.
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, etc.)
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales operations and/or business analysis
  • Demonstrated success in sales, category management and/or analytics supporting key accounts.
  • Ability to transform data into actionable items.
