Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains and administers security system software and databases, to include Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Security Information, and Video Management Systems.
  • Performs process flow and requirements documentation, use case creation, software testing, user account set-up, release note and user guide documentation, user training both virtual and in-person for one-on-one and large group sessions as part of a Security Education Training and Awareness program (SETA).
  • Understands database schemas, entity relationship diagrams, automated job scheduling and data interfaces.
  • Systems/tools/applications/databases that will be used and/or maintained include:
  • Avigilon
  • Captivate
  • MASterMind
  • MS Access, MS Excel Formulas and Data Analysis
  • MS OneNote
  • MS Power BI Desktop/Service
  • MS SharePoint
  • Lenel Console
  • Security Information Management System (SIMS) Infinity
  • Tableau
  • In-depth working knowledge of policies and procedures including but not limited to the 32 CFR Part 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM), the DoD Manual 5205.07 Vol 1-4, and the ICD 705.
  • Manage time effectively and be able to take independent action.
  • Take initiative to improve processes, as well as provide solutions once an issue has been identified.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences at all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communications.
  • Must be well organized, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize tasking, and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment.
  • Candidate should love working with people and computers, having the ability to translate the Security organization’s compliance requirements into technical requirements for use by internal Information Technology or by the various software manufactures suppliers whom we do business with, as well as support implementation of automation tools throughout a wide-spanning organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 Years of Industrial Security or Information Technology experience with Bachelors; 8 years with Masters; An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
  • Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) approval.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPSO certification
  • FSO certification
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Agile Project Management experience
  • Top Secret clearance

Salary Range: $94,500 USD – $141,700 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
